- Society For Support To Destitute Persons
Thatta, October 2, 2025 (H.O): In a spirit of social welfare, the Society for Support to Destitute Persons organized a one-day free medical camp in the village Muradani, taluka Gharabari, district Thatta. Hundreds of patients received free medical check-ups from specialist doctors, along with free medicines, clothing for underprivileged women and lunch for all attendees.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including members of the society Retired Brigadier Khadim Jatoi, former Secretary Health Dr. Naseem Ghani Sahito, former Director General Information Syed Fazil Shah, Director General Planning & Development Abdul Nabi Memon, former Chief Economics Ghulam Mustafa Abro, Syed Muhammad Yousuf Shah, Hanif Hangoro, and other notables.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Fazil Shah and Abdul Nabi Memon highlighted that the society has been providing essential health services in underprivileged and coastal areas to help reduce poverty particularly among women and to empower them to become self-reliant. They emphasized that such initiatives not only promote social welfare but also contribute to alleviating poverty and deprivation among marginalized women and children.
Representatives of the society stated that their mission is to ensure basic facilities for people living in backward regions, aiming to bring positive changes in their lives. They further announced that similar medical camps will be organized in other remote and poverty-stricken areas in the future to extend the benefits to more people.
They added that such humanitarian efforts strengthen the spirit of social service, mutual cooperation, and compassion among communities. At the conclusion of the event, patients and local women expressed their gratitude to the society’s management and the team of doctors for their valuable services.
ھٹھہ، 2 اکتوبر 2025ء (ھ آ): سماجی بھبود کے جذبے کے تحت سوسائٹی فار سپورٹ ٹو ڈسٹیٹیوٹ پرسنز (SSDP) کی جانب سے تعلقہ گھوڑاباری کے گاؤں مورادانی میں ایک روزہ مفت میڈیکل کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں سینکڑوں مریضوں کا مختلف امراض کے ماہر ڈاکٹروں نے معائنہ کیا، مریضوں کو مفت ادویات جبکہ غریب خواتین کو کپڑے اور کھانہ بھی فراہم کیا گیا۔ تقریب میں سوسائٹی کے اراکین ریٹائرڈ بریگیڈیئر خادم جتوئی، سابق سیکریٹری صحت ڈاکٹر نسیم غنی، سابق ڈی جی اطلاعات سید فاضل شاہ، ڈی جی پلاننگ اینڈ ڈیولپمنٹ عبدالنبی میمن، سابق چیف اکانومکس غلام مصطفیٰ ابڑو، سید محمد یوسف شاہ، حنیف ہنگورو اور علاقے کی دیگر معزز شخصیات نے خصوصی طور پر شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر سید فاضل شاہ، عبدالنبی میمن اور دیگر مقررین نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سوسائٹی کی جانب سے پسماندہ اور ساحلی علاقوں میں غریب اور مستحق لوگوں کے لیے صحت کی سہولیات فراہم کی جا رہی ہیں تاکہ خاص طور پر خواتین میں غربت کے خاتمے اور انہیں خود مختار بنانے میں مدد مل سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ایسی سرگرمیوں سے نہ صرف عوام میں سماجی بھلائی کا شعور بڑھے گا بلکہ غریب خواتین اور بچوں کی محرومیوں میں بھی کمی آئے گی۔ سوسائٹی کے نمائندوں نے بتایا کہ ان کا مقصد پسماندہ علاقوں کے عوام کو بنیادی سہولیات فراہم کرنا ہے تاکہ ان کی زندگیوں میں بہتری آ سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ مستقبل میں بھی دیگر پسماندہ اور غربت زدہ علاقوں میں اسی طرح کے مفت میڈیکل کیمپس منعقد کیے جائیں گے تاکہ زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگوں کو فائدہ پہنچایا جا سکے – انہوں نے کہا کہ ایسی سماجی خدمات سے نہ صرف انسانیت کی خدمت کا جذبہ مضبوط ہوتا ہے بلکہ لوگوں میں باہمی تعاون اور ہمدردی کا احساس بھی فروغ پاتا ہے۔ تقریب کے اختتام پر مریضوں اور خواتین نے سوسائٹی کی انتظامیہ اور ڈاکٹروں کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
